First of all you giveup too soon π
No clue why you did give up game 1. About game 2: if you don't know the Alekhine defense very good you get in trouble soon because you don't have much space on the board... The white player can easily develop his pieces and wait for a the right moment to force a win. My advice play a less tactical defense which is more easy to learn. In fact as a beginner it's better to choose 2/3 openings at max and allways play those no matter what.
Game 3: You start pretty good here until move 17 where you play h5(loosing tempo) ? 21 Ra3(great move from white) - Ne5c4 ? (loosing another tempo), way better is NG6 to try to exchange the Bishop because the threat Bxc7 should be stopped asap. Also playable is Rd7 i guess.
Well goodluck anyway π

Sir Lot, weren't you the player who decided to study Nymzowitches' "My System" ? What's your opinion regarding this book ?
However maybe both me and Sir wanted this book:it was delivered to me two days ago and it's definitely a great book even if I red the first 60 pages (which 33 are about Nimzo's life and career).
I enjoyed the clear writing style, great explanations and amazing metaphores about chess/daily life.
This book will help me for sure,I'm enthusiastic about it!

When you've read the book you'll know why this is a true chess classic, a must read for every player who seriously wants to improve his or her play. In fact the book deals with the fundaments of modern (positional) chess. It will change, improve and deepen your "chess thinking".
